Loving the Home Hopeful

From the heavenly-happiness of the redwoods we go to Santa Cruz with hot food and warm smiles;  we call it Meals INC [“In the Name of Christ”].  You can help us Friday in food preparation, 6 to 8 PM at our place.

The Homeless Services Center [“HSC”] on Coral Street in Santa Cruz is a hub of resources to those who find themselves without a home.  We stand with HSC for those in need to be valued and lifted up.  Every other Saturday we come with a hot, nutritious breakfast and then a dinner to match.  We do this in connection to Christ who cares and has moved us to show His love in this practical way.

On our weekends we partner with Messiah Lutheran Church of Santa Cruz.  We also benefit from the Second Harvest Food Bank of Santa Cruz county where we shop during the week to make our meals.

On the other weekends our friends at Santa Cruz Bible Church bring the same loving nutrition to our new friends at the HSC.  Every Friday the Rebele Family Shelter find God’s love in the hot meal brought by Twin Lakes Church in Aptos.

So it is a broad partnership to keep hope alive among the “Home Hopeful” but it is being done.  There is room for you as a worker and for your church to expand our support to the good people and mission of HSC.  If we could supply more hot meals and love then their staff could do even more.

Contact us to learn more and be part of the Solution.
