On Sunday, September 25 at noon we will host an experienced parent who will lead a discussion on ways to address mental illness in your family.
There are ways to understand and help family or friends who have a mental illness. Our discussion leader is a former “Family-to-Family” program educator with NAMI. She has a son who has had tremendous ups and downs so she can now encourage others to do more than ‘hang in there’. Practical help is here for each of us.
This is a ‘brown bag’ event meeting at noon in our downstairs, multi-use room. It will be a confidential group so as to promote personal honesty and a new depth of sharing for all who attend.
