On Sunday, September 25 we will host an experienced parent able to lead a discussion on ways to address mental illness.
There are ways to understand and help family or friends who have a mental illness. Our discussion leader is a “Family-to-Family” Program Educator with NAMI. She has a son who has had tremendous ups and downs that can now encourage others to ‘hang in there’.
This is a ‘brown bag’ event meeting at noon in our downstairs, multi-use room. It will be a confidential group so as to promote personal honesty and a new depth of sharing for all who attend.
